Developing Strategies

We use a robust methodology to develop equality, diversity and inclusion strategies,
and action plans that address your real equality problems and drive improvements to
remove differences for minority groups in representation in the workforce, in recruitment
and selection, in staff satisfaction, in bullying, harassment, grievances, capability and
disciplinaries to support you to meet high equality standards and goals.

Facilitating staff engagement sessions

We will arrange focus groups and engage with your people to understand your equality issues and how they would like them to be solved.. We will empower your workforce to have a voice and input in to your strategies and action plans.

Investigations

We will investigate your complex employee relations issues including bullying, harassment, discrimination, disciplinary and grievance cases. We also provide investigation advice and guidance

Leading Change Programmmes

We lead small and large change programmes. We complete robust equality impact analysis.

Compliance

We will support you and provide advice and guidance to ensure that you are fully legally
compliant.

We can audit and review your practice to ensure that you have everything in place to
meet the requirements of equality legislation including the Equality Act 2010, the public sector equality duty and mandatory pay gap reporting.

I’m Andrea Derbyshire, the HR, Diversity, and Inclusion Consultant behind Andrea Jane Consultancy, which I proudly established in 2018.

Andrea Jane Consultancy is female-led, qualified, experienced and professional with a can do pragmatic approach that  helps you to get the best out of people, improve your culture and equality performance and minimise risk.

With a friendly way of working that quickly builds strong relationships with clients giving clear no nonsense advice to deliver the right skills, and the right service at the right time. 

Andrea has over 27 years HR experience at a senior level specialising in in equality, diversity and inclusion.  Andrea has worked at a senior level across industries such as Telecommunications, Retail, The Voluntary Sector, IT and Healthcare.  Andrea also works with experienced associates to get the expertise that you need.

Andrea has 15 years experience in the NHS and led the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda across three NHS hospitals in the NHS for a decade.  Andrea has worked at a national level and has a track record of success.

Andrea is a chartered fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD).

In 2019 Andrea set up the Diversity & Inclusion Leaders Space Facebook group for people working on, in or passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion to work together to share ideas, resources, ask questions and learn from each other.   To join the group click here
